My experience with Family Dental of Palatine has been absolutely fantastic. I've been a customer for over a year and have been extremely happy with both Dr. Chammae and Dr. Hong with their work and professionalism. The staff is amazing to work with as well, they are welcoming and are always extremely helpful. My appointments are quick and available to my schedule. My adult children have also experienced positive work and professionalism with both doctors and staff. I recommend the office of Family Dental of Palatine with Dr. Chammae and Dr, Hong for their wonderful work and wonderful staff.

Dr. Chammae and his team are fantastic! Rachel and Carolina are great when they clean my teeth - No Pain! Veronica has gone above and beyond to help out on several occasions. Excellent!

2 years ago, I came for a cleaning and was convinced to get my silver fillings replaced even though they were in great condition. The dentist's "concern" was that they could crack... etc. So I agreed because I TRUSTED the dentist. 6 months after my visit, I noticed that plaque was growing around my fillings (something that I NEVER experienced with my silver fillings) and expressed my concern with the dentist. He ignored me and suggested I get crowns before the new fillings that HE JUST DID 6 months prior started cracking.. A simple cleaning turned into HUNDREDS worth of work, then THOUSANDS to fix his botched work. I didn't say anything because I felt so powerless... I never returned to this office afterward. Now, I'm struggling so much with my teeth because they used CHEAP composite fillings. Coming to this office was one of the worst mistakes I've made in my life. If you have silver fillings and you have no trouble, PLEASE DO NOT get them replaced if not necessary. Always get a second opinion even if the dentist is "concerned." This is a common malpractice in dentistry. The reviews are right in how they describe the staff being kind and friendly. But don't let those smiles fool you. I'm sure this review won't make much impact, but I hope this helps someone in the future. Not only will you be saving your hard earned money, but you also won't have to go through so much emotional distress.
